Submission Guidelines | ICME 2026: The Conference

We invite prospective authors to submit their valuable research findings to ICME 2026.

We are inviting and encouraging prospective authors to submit their valuable research findings, original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work relevant to the theme and the tracks of the conference.

All submitted papers are subject to a double-blind peer-review process by at least two reviewers.

The accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of the authors. At least one author should be duly registered for the conference for each accepted paper and all the registered papers will be included in ICME 2026 proceedings published by the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka.

The accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings electronically with ISBN.

Full Paper Submission Guidelines

The author(s) should prepare their manuscript according to the submission guidelines specified in the manuscript template. Key guidelines can be found below.

Title Page (Submitted Separately)

  • Provide a concise and informative title (maximum of ten words).
  • Include the name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), and e-mail address(es) of the corresponding author.
  • Submit author details using the Author Information Form. The main manuscript must not contain any author-identifying information.

Structure of the Main Manuscript (Anonymous)

  • Title
  • Abstract (200–250 words)
  • Keywords (3–5 keywords in alphabetical order)
  • Introduction
  • Research Problem
  • Review of the Relevant Literature
  • Methods
  • Data Analysis and Findings
  • Discussion and Conclusion
  • References (APA 7th edition).

The full paper must not exceed 12 pages (A4 size), including references and appendices. An additional fee of USD 10 (International authors) or LKR 1,500 (for Local authors) will be charged per extra page.

Formatting Requirements

Authors should prepare the manuscripts according to the formatting specification given below.

Reference Style References must follow APA 7th edition, alphabetical order, hanging indent (1 cm)

Tables and Figures

  • Tables and Figures should be placed in the main text where appropriate.
  • Tables labelled above; figures labelled below. Only horizontal lines in tables. Number tables and figures consecutively (Arabic numerals).

Best Paper Award

The best paper of each track will be selected by the panel members.

Papers that receive the best paper awards will be published in the South Asian Journal of Business Insights, and the Journal of University Ruhuna.
